Hey guys just a quick and easy tutorial today. Kas allows you to pick up and replace a bunch of stuff from solar panels to decouplers that remain stuck to a part to docking ports. Before and it seems to imply that something can be done about it. At first i believed i could just remove the smashed glass and replace it however after.

This is for stations with large tracking solar arrays not the small single ones. If there is any way to repair these panels even through a mod please let me know. Last edited by ottomic. Does anyone know of any way to repair solar panels.

So i have read many threads saying that panels cannot be repaired w out mods but these are from previous versions and i believe most of them are referring to panels that have been smashed of the craft. How to repair solar panels ksp 100 legitimate stock parts note. There s some of them already added in you can even put them in a box of spares and can be picked up and placed from eva and you can also add some of them in by the addpart cfg i think it s called that file in kas folder. The kis mod would help too.

I just landed on duna for the first time and broke all of my solar panels in the process landed without any damage but had to roll to get upright. Ok so if your here its probably too late sorry because this method is all about planning in advanced. With kas you can mount boxes of spares in your spaceships pick them up with a kerbal place them in eva and also detach them too. One panel creates enough energy to keep one ix 6315 dawn electric propulsion system at maximum thrust and a distance to kerbol similar to that of kerbin under the premise that it is able to orient itself perfectly to the sun.

Apr 8 2014 7 10pm. So recently i picked up these two 100w solar panels for under 100 because one of the panels glass was shattered. The craft may need to be rolled to allow a decent enough coverage. You could send an engineer up and bump into the solar panel and edit your save file to make your panels not broken and pretend your engineer bumped it and fixed it.

I have never seen this broken.
