Kampa awning problems.

Most condensation occurs in the off season early spring autumn winter. And the kampa limpets become very brittle and flimsy in hot weather. The easy awning pulley from kampa makes threading your awning onto the caravan a simple one person task. Just over a year old and leaks like a sieve on the seams.

Simply slide the pulley into place lock into the caravan beading channel and attach the carabiner to the eyelet on the awning beading. Kampa has titled this video how to change a short tube however it actually shows the method kampa advise on how to address leaks. Trevor condensation in a lot of modern awnings isn t restricted to kampa any awning made of an impermeable fabric will suffer from it and it just has to be managed or alternatively go for an awning made of a breathable cotton material but then these can have other problems. The kampa roof lining is poor its a hell of a stretch to make it fit cable ties had to be used it pools the condensation which is worse than allowing it to develop evenly inside the roof.

Kampa rally 330 poor. This was indeed the case and remains the case after a few more occasions of rain. This stops water coming in however it also stops moisture getting out. The replacement so far has been fine but very disappointed in an item that cost close to 900 and ruined a holiday.
