Masonite siding is made out of wood and resins.

Cementitious siding installed after 1973 is very unlikely to contain asbestos.
I was thinking maybe i know that they used to make a masonite.

So if it s not a tile then it s not likely to be asbestos.

These materials are known as fiber cement siding and they contain no asbestos.

While older homes will likely contain asbestos in roofing insulation and tiles it can also be present in exterior siding.
If you suspect that your siding may contain asbestos there is no need for alarm.
But this stuff was somewhat removed to put on the entryway which i was told was done way before the former owner ever moved in.
Asbestos is more of a cement type product.
