Use your neoprene washer head screws to secure the metal to the sheathing. For exposed fasteners avoid over tightening the fastener. The eave flashing or edging is just the steel metal strips used to cover the entire perimeter of the roof. A basic rule of thumb for installing metal roofing is that the piece of roofing higher up on the slope should always overlap the one below it.
